Why we built this.
Mobile apps changed everything. Fifteen years ago, your phone couldn't deposit a check, hail a cab, or order dinner. Then the App Store launched, and within a few years, there was an app for everything. The hard part wasn't finding apps — it was finding good ones.
AI agents are that moment again, except bigger. These aren't just apps that wait for you to open them. They're tools that work in the background — reading your email, managing your schedule, monitoring your spending, handling customer questions — taking real work off your plate without being asked.
The problem is the same one the early App Store had: there are already too many to sort through, most of the "reviews" are paid promotions, and nobody's doing the work to separate what's real from what's marketing.
That's what Agent Finder does. We find agents. We test them. We write about what works, what doesn't, and who each one is actually built for.

Independence first.
We don't let agent developers pay for better reviews. Sponsored content is labeled. Our editorial picks are based on testing, not business relationships. If we recommend something, it's because we'd use it ourselves.
Real people, not power users.
Our audience isn't AI engineers. It's a small business owner wondering if there's something that can handle invoicing. A parent who wants help organizing the family calendar. A student looking for a better way to study. We write for people who want results, not features lists.
Honest opinions.
Some agents are bad. We'll say so. Some are good but overpriced. We'll say that too. Our value comes from being the place people trust, and trust requires saying things that aren't always comfortable.
Time well spent.
The whole point of AI agents is to give you time back. If our site wastes your time with filler content and clickbait, we've defeated our own purpose. We keep things clear, direct, and useful.

Agent Finder is built by a small team with deep roots in performance marketing, technology, and editorial content. We've spent years figuring out how to connect people with products that genuinely improve their lives — and we've seen what happens when that process is driven by advertising instead of trust.
We use AI agents ourselves. Not as a gimmick — as the operational backbone of how we research, write, and publish. Our research team includes AI-powered agents (Atlas, Scout, and others) that scan hundreds of sources daily. Humans make the final calls. The agents do the heavy lifting.
Atlas is Agent Finder's AI research system — built on Claude by Anthropic — that discovers, catalogs, and assists in evaluating AI agents across 50+ categories. Atlas processes thousands of data points weekly to keep our coverage comprehensive and current.
Todd is a technology journalist and AI tools expert with over a decade of experience reviewing software and developer tools. He founded Agent Finder to help people navigate the rapidly expanding world of AI agents with independent, hands-on testing.
